Contains Brigham Young Academy student magazine publications from 1884 to 1896. Includes copies of the BYA Student, The Normal, The Journal of Pedagogy, and The Business Journal.

Scope and Contents Contains copies of university circulars, bulletins, and catalogues. Circulars contain much of the same information as the catalogs such as: a brief history of the University, course descriptions, program descriptions, and tuition and fee listings. Bulletins contain more of an overview of a specific department. These include aims of the department, reasons to study that major, requirements for that major, and course descriptions. Contains photographs and negatives related to the history of Brigham Young University's first one-hundred years, which were collected by Edwin Butterworth Jr. for the 1975 publication of Brigham Young University: 1000 Views of 100 Years, a commemorative photographic history of the university for the university's centennial celebration.

Biography of Edwin Smith Hinckley. Hinckley was a professor at Brigham Young University and served as counselor to President George H. Brimhall. Includes a CD-ROM.

Two handwritten diaries and pasted in newsclippings. Many diary entries were made in short hand. The newsclippings relate to Hardy's discussions of religion and educational matters and to his attempts to harmonize religion and science. Hardy travelled through Europe in 1875 and was active in Utah educational matters upon his return.

Materials include forty-seven photographs that document campus life in the 1920s. Subjects include Cleo and Tarbo (early Brigham Young University cougar cub mascots), the construction of the Heber J. Grant Library, lower campus, and student activities. Also included are photographs of Mount Timpanogos. Dated approximately 1920-1929.
