Biographical History

Keith Lowell Smith (1920-1992) was an academic administrator in Utah.

Keith Lowell Smith was born on August 31, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah. On March 24, 1947 he married Marrilyn Louise Cullimore. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He served as the BYU-Salt Lake Center for Continuing Education's chairman from 1966-1972. Later he served as the Director of Brigham Young University's Division of Continuing Education from 1981-1983. He died January 16, 1992.

Biographical History

George S. Haslam (1907-1983) was an academic administrator in Utah.

George S. Haslam was born July 20, 1907 to George J. Haslam and Orilla Smith Haslam in Wellsville, Utah. He married Thelma McClellan May 21, 1929. He served as Chairman of The Ogden Adult Education Center from 1959-1966. He wrote Authorization for Adult Education and Extension Services by the Policy Making Groups of Brigham Young University in 1963. Haslam died November 4, 1983.

Biographical History

Richard H. Henstrom (born 1928) was an academic administrator in Utah.

Richard H. Henstrom was born on June 26, 1928 in Provo Utah. He began working at Brigham Young University's Divison of Continuing Education in 1957 as the chairman of off-campus programs. He worked in adult and continuing education for more than 36 years and retired in 1993. He pioneered the first Education Weeks held in off-campus location. Henstrom was also involved in planning and establishing Study Abroad centers and programs worldwide and degrees through the Independent Study program.
