She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah. They married in 1884. John died in 1932 in Bingham, Utah, and Mattie died in 1928.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and married Robert Evans. They migrated to Utah in 1857 and settled in American Fork. The couple had no children. She died in 1930. Green was born in 1838 and died in 1905 in Eureka, Utah. Charles came to Utah with Johnston's Army. He later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and settled in Alpine, Utah. Charles married Mary Ann Radman, but they had no children. They adopted Loren Fisher Green.
