Correspondence of Robert Walter Weir, dating from around 1830 to 1884 in West Point and Glasgow. The letter are primarily from James Walter Weir, brother William Henry Weir, and former drawing student at West Point. Also included is an envelope addressed to Professor and Mrs. Weir with newspaper articles concerning rare coins.

Contains papers collected by Robert Weir dated from March 14, 1765 to July 26, 1863 in New York. These items include information about church and family records, military appointments, correspondence, and transaction receipts.

Contains journals and scrapbooks of Susan Martha Bayard Weir dated from January 1, 1875 to November 17, 1892. The first year of the journal was kept while lived at West Point and the remainder while she lived in New York City and Garrison, New York. It is a detailed daily journal recounting family events, business, visits, correspondence, achievements and relationships, as well as the social and cultural activities in which she and other family members were involved.

Contains papers of the Weir family, dated from around 1914 to 1917, in New York and Yale College. The papers includes "The Yale Alumni Weekly, Commencement 1917," Julian Alden Weir sketches, and newspaper clippings.
