It is signed and titled by Zane Grey in ink at the top of the first leaf, with numerous holograph ink inscriptions and changes to the text. The numerous ink corrections to the typescript average about ten per page, and while most are altering proper names, there are also insertions, deletions and changes of other words, and in a few instances whole sentences are added.
