Audrey Fryer Kent autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. She served in the Letterman General Hospital at the Presidio in San Francisco, California. She was assigned to operating rooms and helped with reconstructive surgery. She married D. W. Kent in 1944.

Collection includes correspondence with Custer historians (indexed), writings concerning the battle, research and reference files (indexed), maps and photographs of the battle site, biographical material on Kuhlman, memorabilia, and other papers. Correspondents include Earl Alonzo Brininstool, Fred Dustin, Robert Spurrier Ellison, W. A. Falconer, Edward Smith Luce, and Elwood L. Nye.
Francis Kuhn scrapbook
Scrapbook largely comprised of newspaper clippings relating to the United States war with Mexico, 1846 to 1848. Most of the items were clipped from newspapers of the time. The materials relate to the course and outcome of the war and to the personalities involved. Some of the items are in Spanish. The collection is believed to have been created by a Francis Kuhn.
Milton Kurzrok letter
Handwritten letter dated 31 Aug. 1945 and addressed to Manuel W. Goodman of Brooklyn, N.Y. The second leaf of the letter is missing, so the item is not signed. Kurzrok writes about playing tennis and meeting Lt. Gen. James Doolittle. Kurzrok was impressed with Doolittle and called him a "very regular guy." Also included is the envelope in which the letter was sent.

Materials also contain books about Vietnam prisoners of war and Chesley's personal published work, "Seven Years in Hanoi." Dated approximately 1955-2003.

Book topics include the experiences of being a Vietnam POW, and also the events surrounding the Vietnam War itself. There is also a book containing signatures of the people of Hartford, Connecticut, expressing their gratitude to all POWs who returned, and those who did not. Dated approximately 1971-1976.
Larry Chesley letters, approximately 1944-2005
Materials contain letters to Larry as he is retained as a POW in North Vietnam from 1966 to 1973. Letters are from his parents, and family members, and also from the Department of Air Force. The series also includes letters of congratulations upon his return home in 1973, as well as letters of sympathy as his second wife and little boy die from a car accident in 1981. The series also contains histories on both Larry and his late wife Annette Huntsman. Dated approximately 1944-2005.
