The Josephine Hinckley Bentley mission diary includes the photocopied account of Josephine's mission to California. The diary is from 1913.

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries. Includes several pages of family genealogy. Volume 1 describes Harmon's overland journeys in 1847, 1848, 1849 and 1850. Harmon traveled from Nebraska to the Upper Platte Ferry (1847), from Nebraska to Salt Lake City (1848), from Salt Lake City to the Upper Platte Ferry (1849), and from Salt Lake City to the East Coast to serve a mission to England (1850). Scope and Contents Contains two journals for the mission of Paul Ludlow in the Northern States Mission in the Midwestern United States during 1901-1902. He served in Michigan, and Illinois, primarily Chicago. Ludlow's entry on April 15, 1902, includes the description of a visit with David Hyrum Smith, youngest son of Joseph Smith, while he was in the Northern Illinois Hospital and Asylum for the Insane in Elgin, Illinois. Journal kept by Elias Nielsen which includes entries during his service a missionary in the Northern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1897 to 1899. Also contains lists of ward member names in Logan, Utah, blessings given, a biographical entry, and other personal stories. Dates of entries begin in 1893 and continue through 1916.
