Contains incomplete handwritten notes related to scientific observations of an insect infestation of a vineyard in France. Notes are written on a printed announcement of the death of Augustine Denat, a fourteen14 year old girl from St. Michel, who died in May 1853.

Typewritten engineering report prepared for the Research Corporation of New York concerning the diking of the Great Salt Lake east of Antelope Island to create a fresh water embayment of particular use to Salt Lake City. Typescript was received by the Utah governor's office in January 1934.

Ambrose Sabin
Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Ambrose Sabin (1834-1908) by his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Sabin Gough. Ambrose was a Mormon pioneer to Utah. He spent most of his adult life in Salem, Utah. He was a farmer and the father of eleven children.
