Clark collected faith promoting experiences and reports of modern miracles told by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Included are stories of a mother praying for her dying son and having him live, garments protecting a factory worker from clothes that ignited, and one of the three nephites saving a man in a car crash. The project was written for an English 362 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.

Clinger examines ghost stories regarding haunted sites in Ogden, Utah gathered from a close group of friends from there. She explores the ways in which Ogden's colorful past has shaped current superstitions and ghost stories. Clinger contemplates the reasoning behind why such stories are perpetuated and kept alive by Ogden residents. Rebecca A. Wilhite collected personal narratives about songs sung by her family that unified them. Included are lullabyes such as "Train Whistle Blowing", "Children's Eyes", and "Mes Amies" and songs for entertaining, such as "Goober Peas", "Sweet Violets", and a parody of the song "Molly Malone". Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1995.

Farrington discusses the commonalities amongst the folkloric stories involving the breaking of one's bones. Farrington analyzes the vividness of such experiences in the subconscious, as well as the process in which one either revisits or chooses to forget the events and/or pain involved. Scope and Contents note After suffering a bad breakup, Soelberg's eyes were opened to the less-known and less-talked about side of finding a spouse at Brigham Young University. He explores how the assumption that if you go to Brigham Young University, you will get married is often a misconception. Through analyzing key parts of breakup stories, Soelberg highlights that dating and relationships are not without their ups and downs. Leavitt collected folklore surrounding the Brigham Young University Honor Code. Included are stories of Honor Code violations, stories of gay students at the university being followed and reported, and letters to the editor of the Daily Universe complaining about the Honor Code.
