Scope and Contents

Rebecca A. Wilhite collected personal narratives about songs sung by her family that unified them. Included are lullabyes such as "Train Whistle Blowing", "Children's Eyes", and "Mes Amies" and songs for entertaining, such as "Goober Peas", "Sweet Violets", and a parody of the song "Molly Malone". Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1995.
