Gordon collected stories of pranks and jokes played by family members on each other to celebrate April Fool's Day. Included are jokes between husbands and wives, jokes on family and friends, and jokes that backfire. The project was collected for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
Breaking the rules : the study of a missionary trickster hero / Darren G. Vance, 1990
Darren G. Vance collected personal narratives of missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who broke rules and were famous for being tricksters. Included are stories of an Elder bleaching his hair blonde, a companionship going to a basketball game, and times that breaking rules actually lead to baptisms and re-activations in the church. Project was written for an English 667 class taught at Brigham Young University during Fall semester 1990.

Berrett collected personal narratives of relationship break-ups experienced by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Included are stories of a breakup that happened over text, a girl who had a spiritual impression to break up with a boyfriend she really liked, and a boy that kissed his ex-girlfriend's three best friends as revenge for the breakup. The project was written for for an English 392 class taught by Dr. Jill Rudy at Brigham Young University in 2009.
