Breaking the rules : the study of a missionary trickster hero / Darren G. Vance, 1990
Scope and Contents
Darren G. Vance collected personal narratives of missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who broke rules and were famous for being tricksters. Included are stories of an Elder bleaching his hair blonde, a companionship going to a basketball game, and times that breaking rules actually lead to baptisms and re-activations in the church. Project was written for an English 667 class taught at Brigham Young University during Fall semester 1990.
