Phineus Woolcott Cook letter to Brigham Young
Handwritten and signed letter is addressed to Brigham Young, the second president of the Mormon Church. Cook writes to Young concerning the need to purchase mill stones.
W. H. Lee letter to David McKenzie
Handwritten and signed letter, dated 3 Feb. 1873, and addressed to David McKenzie. The item was written from the "Assessor and Collector's Office Tooele City." Lee writes to David McKenzie for taxes on the "Richvile Mill" owned by Brigham Young, second president of the Mormon Church.
Sterling Mining and Milling Company promissory notes
Photocopies of typed and signed promissory notes dated October 1895 and March 1898. The notes are directed to the Commercial National Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah, and to Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Company. The items were signed by prominent Mormon Church officials including apostles and presidents of that religion.
