Tintype of two unknown women wearing colonial-style clothing. The woman at the front it sitting on a white railing while the other stands behind her. Both women are holding large folded fans. Their faces are tinted with pink while a red line has been drawn on top of their white bonnets.

Tintype photograph of a boy, who is probably a son of Thomas L. Kane. The boy, who is about 9 to 10 years old, is sitting on an upholstered chair that has many strands of decorative tassels hanging from it. He is wearing a heavy dark suit and is sticking his thumb into one of his buttonholes. His cheeks and mouth are slightly tinted with pink.
