Contains annual volumes of randomly organized reminiscences of his life, including childhood in Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah; scouting; family; missionary service; education and profession; the building of the Provo and Jordan River temples; and work at Brigham Young University, including interactions with Ernest L. Wilkinson and Dallin H. Oaks. Also includes addresses and poems by Lewis, an oral history, and Lewis family history. Materials dated 1944-2003 (bulk: 1988-2003).

Scope and Contents Collection documents the operation of primarily the Provo Missionary Training Center; it is divided into series of language training materials, gospel teaching and missionary training materials, and floor plans (and similar/related documents) for other worldwide missionary training centers, visitors' centers, LDS Church historical sites, etc.Contains language textbooks, foreign editions of Church materials, cultural guides, study plans and area handbooks, grammar and vocabulary...

Scope and Contents

This collection contains 5 nitrate negatives, 225 35-mm black and white negatives, and 10 photographic prints of negatives. All of the images are of lower-campus buildings of Brigham Young University between 1914 and 1989. Buildings included in the images are the Brigham Young Academy, the Old Missionary Training School, and the College Hall. Many of the photographs are of the interiors of these buildings. One of the nitrate negatives is of the May Ward Food Laboratory taken in 1914.
