This series is primarily concerned with Edwina Booth's role in Trader Horn, although there are also obituaries and substantial coverage on her theater career before Trader Horn. There is also material on Suzette Duncan's alienation of affections suit against Booth.

This series contains a subseries for Trader Horn publicity. It is mostly coverage on the production of Trader Horn in Africa.

These papers document Elian's life and career as a harp soloist from the 1910s onward, her year as a musician in Hollywood studio orchestras (1926-1954), and significantly her marriage (1936-1946) to film composer Max Steiner. Also covered is Elian's concert career as a member of symphony orchestras and ballet companies as well as soloist appearing worldwide (1950-1986).

Scope and Contents Contains a note, a printed soft-bound booklet, and two commencement programs relating or belonging to Kane. The note is titled "Reasons Why" and gives seven reasons that her son Elisha should accompany his father to some unnamed place. The booklet contains journal entries written by Elizabeth Kane during her trip to Mexico as part of the Pan-American Medical Congress. The commencement programs are for the 1883 and 1885 commencements at the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania. Materials...
