Describes his missions, including one mission where the pilot lost it and almost killed them, but the copilot took control and saved them. Also describes how he had to have an appendicitis operation and the next day his crew was shot down, one run short of being able to go home. Recounts that he was handpicked by a Colonel to be his lead bombardier. Dated January 1, 2004.
