The origin of names / Amy Roper, 2008
This project looks at the origin of the names of 4 males and 12 female college age students. Patterns being noted are family names being passed on, being named after a well known character, and having standard first names and novel middle names. 11 Americans were interviewed along with five multicultural students (Japanese, Polynesian, Columbian, Mexican, Arabic). Collected by Amy Roper, Dr. Eric Eliason's ENGL 391 class, Winter 2008.
The origins of the Koyle dream mine / Timothy Jon Rowley, 1989
Timothy Jon Rowley collected personal narratives dealing with the origins of a mine that was begun when a bishop, John Koyle, had a vision. Included are stories of the bishop's apostasy and excommunication from the church, and opposing stories that claim that the bishop was a righteous man and that the riches from the mine were for the welfare of the church during hard times that would occur before the second coming.

The Parker family Christmas program : a collection and study of the ongoing and famous tradition / MaryClaire Parker, 1999
Parker recorded memories of performances at the traditional Parker Family Christmas Eve program. Her extended family gathers and each member is required to perform something. Included are songs sung, descriptions of dances danced, and silly antics. Project was created for Dr. Eliason's English 391 course taught at Brigham Young University in 1999.

Items include cat's cradle, hand play, handkerchiefs, hymnbooks, paper drawings, paper folding, notes, pencil and paper games, sacrament cups and bread, and extra activites.
