Items include personal letters addressed to several members of the Wattis family; genealogy starting with Lyman Corey, his great-grandfather; an affidavit from Eunice Wattis Bowman asserting that Will W. Bowman is her son and verifying his birth; as well as newspaper clippings commemorating the death of W. H. Wattis, undated.
The Willard family : Josiah Willard's descendants
Typewritten genealogy. The item traces the descendants of Josiah Willard (1635-1674) and Simon Willard (1605-1676) for four generations. The families largely lived in New England at that time. The information in this item was taken from the "Willard Genealogy" published in 1915 and was revised by Stephen F. Willard in 1962.
William Hubbard Winterton diary
Photocopies of a handwritten diary, a chronology of the history of Great Britain, and genealogies of the Winterton family. The diary was kept weekly by Winterton in 1855 when he was serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nottingham, England.
Phoebe K. Woodbury letters
