Photocopies of biographies, genealogies, patriarchal blessings, certificiates, and portraits. Many of the items relate to Mildred Elizabeth Allred (1898-1980), her family and ancestors. Also included are biographies of various members of the Allred family covering many aspects of early Mormon history. Most of these materials are unreliable family stories. Many of these people lived in Sanpete County, Utah.

Scope and Contents A typescript and two audiocassette recordings of an interview with Wayne A. Warr conducted by Scott M. Fellows on February 14, 1985, for the Ray Hillam war project. Warr served in the United States Army and was sent to Vietnam in 1965 as a radio operator. He was in Vietnam for three months in 1965 and returned in 1967 as a platoon sergeant. Printed and signed warrant. This item 7 was issued at the War Office on May 26, 1789 and is addressed to the Geographer of the United States. This warrant requires the survey of one hundred acres of land for Gustavus Aldrich, a former soldier of the Massachusetts line.

John McKeager Warren letter

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter dated 13 Feb. 1858 and addressed to "Dear Father" who was probably living in Franklin County, Missouri. Warren was with the United States Army at "Camp Scott," Utah Territory. The cite is near Fort Bridger, Wyoming. Warren writes about a confrontation with Cheyenne Indians and speculates about the prospect of war with Brigham Young and the Mormons of Utah. Typed copy of an interview. Fife was stationed at Fort George Wright in Spokane, Washington, and was later transferred to Fairmont Army Airforce Base near Fairmont, Nebraska. She talked about her association with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during the war. She married Leland James Fife in 1944.
