Collection contains photographs of groups and individuals known by Robert Ray Nixon while he served as a Mormon missionary to the Southern States Mission, dating between 1900 and 1912. They may be individuals from home or from the mission field. A small portion of the photographs are annotated with personal messages to Robert Ray Nixon.

Robert Ray Nixon (1883-1972) was a draftsman and salesman in Utah and Idaho. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Southern States.
