A letter from Mary Cooper Oakey in Florence, Nebraska, to her father James Oakey in Nottingham, England. She relates the journey to New York. Many were sick during the voyage. She discusses the health of different members of the company and says that they will soon move further west with Br. Brown. Dated July 12, 1862.
