Scope and Contents

A handwritten transcription of the original letter written by I.E. Margosches (illegible) in Birmingham, England to Hyrum Oakey. Possibly a servant or butler writing on behalf of Mrs. Berry, a daughter of Mrs. Halcrow, whom Hyrum had written for genealogical information. Mr. John Magee lived at Leamington (my native town) and lies in the same cemetery as my parents. Then discusses his delight that America has entered the war. Dated April 14, 1917.
