Letter from Benjamin Cluff Jr., Panama, Colombia, to George H. Brimhall describing their leaving the Land of Desolation, and entering the Land of Bountiful. Describes the Land of Desolation, their meeting with Liberal soldiers, and their experience of being shot at. Cluff also wants to know if they will have the means to continue the South American Expedition. Dated September 16, 1901.
