Alexander Wadley reminiscences
Scope and Contents
Collection consists of two reminiscences. The first discusses the Block Y and various activities associated with it. The second discusses the Brigham Young University in the 1930s and describes the different buildings on campus as well as student life. It also includes a discussion of the first cougar mascots.

Biographical / Historical
Alexander Wadley was born 24 October 1911 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He worked for the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation from 1941-1952. He commenced working at Brigham Young University in May 1952 as the Engineer for the Physical Plant Department and worked there until 1958. In 1958 he began working for the Utah State Road Commission. He retired in 1976.
