Materials include a registered mail receipt, from San Diego, California, for mail sent from E.D. Kane (probably Elizabeth Wood Kane) to Mrs. E.K. Kane (probably Crizelda E. Hayes, the wife of Kane's son Elisha Kent Kane) in Kushequa, Pennsylvania. The receipt is slipped in the pages of Elizabeth Kane's 1908-1909 journal. Dated February 24, 1909.
