Letter from Isaac Kaufman to Sigmund Heilner. Isaac Kaufman writes two business letters to Sigmund who is desperately trying to "fix" $2000.00 with any bank that will help him. Isaac writes of a panic in the Bank of France. Second letter informs the banks are all "afraid of a run on their banks and will not let a dollar go." Dated December 16, 1890. Includes a transcription of the letters.
