Contains the journal of Joseph Pulling. The journal includes Pulling's telling of the account of the birth of Jesus Christ and other moments throughout the life of the Savior from his experience reading the Bible. Also contains the geneology of the Joseph Pulling family. Materials are dated approximately 1830.

Biographical History

Joseph Pulling (1784-1865) was a carpenter, husband, and father.

Joseph Pulling was born on January 1, 1784 in Leadington, England to parents Jacob and Hannah Ambler Pulling. He married Sybil Kethro on January 29, 1807 in Much Marcle, England. Together they had three children. On April 11, 1813 he married Hannah Kethro. Together they had five children. Pulling worked as a carpenter.

Pulling died on April 7, 1865 in Herefordshire, England.
