Scope and Contents
Letter from Heilner family to Sigmund Heilner and Seligmann Heilner. This letter contains a newspaper clipping documents stating that Jewish persecutions have taken place in Urspringen and other neighboring towns. In America great disappointment comes to Sigmund and Seligmann when they find their mining fortunes have turned upon them. Aron sends a long letter of encouragement and reflection upon the years of great good the two American sons have done for their family. Dated June 1, 1866. Also contains a translation of the letter.
