Letter from Heilner family to Sigmund Heilner. Caroline Heilner is engaged to Marx Stiefel, the gold nugget plus other funds from Sigmund and Seligmann pay the dowry and costs of marriage preparation at a cost of 6000 franks ($2600.00). Dated September 24, 1861. Includes a translation of the letter.
