Letter from Heilner family to Sigmund Heilner and Seligmann Heilner. Letter describes that the Rogue River Indian War plagues Crescent City, CA. Aron pleas with his sons to return to Germany "where people live like human beings." Dated October 25, 1856. Includes a translation of the letter.
