Biographical History
Leah D. Widtsoe (1874-1965) was a student, faculty member, and matron at Brigham Young Academy. She was married to John Andreas Widtsoe, and they had eight children.

Interview by Hollis Scott with Widtsoe, teacher and author, concerning her reminiscences about her parents, her grandfather Brigham Young; and her husband, John A. Widtsoe. Also recalls her experiences as a student, faculty member, and matron at BYA, 1896-1898; 1905-1907. Gives her views on nutrition and the Word of Wisdom.
Leah D. Widstoe papers
Newspaper clippings, magazine articles, correspondence, galley proofs of manuscripts to be published with handwritten corrections, and brochures on linen. Widstoe writes about the Word of Wisdom, various nutritional issues, and teaching. The correspondence deals largely with Leah's work with her husband while he was serving as the president of the European and British Mission of the Mormon Church.
