Henry William Bigler (1815-1900) was a pioneer and missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript. The item is "extracts from missionary experiences. Copied from original diary owned by Delbert Bigler, Provo, Utah." The extracts start in 1853 when Bigler was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Hawaii. He writes about a smallpox epidemic and missionary experiences. He returned to Utah in 1855. Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a handwritten autobiography and diary. Bigler wrote about his early life from 1815 to 1846 when his diary began. He was born in West Virginia, had encounters with Indians in that state, and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1837.
