Biographical History

Joseph Carpenter (1881-1968) was a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Arizona.

Joseph Lancaster Carpenter was born on July 11, 1881, to Erastus Snow Carpenter and Julia Ann Van Orden, in Glendale, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Southwestern states in 1903. On April 6, 1908, He married Jensine Antonette Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had one child. Joseph died on December 21, 1968, in Thatcher, Arizona.
