Biographical History
Thomas Karren (1810-1876) was a pioneer from Utah.
Thomas Karren was born on May 2, 1810, on the Isle of Man. He married Ann Ratcliff in England in 1833. He served in the Mormon Battalion (Company E) from 1846 to 1847, and was then called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii from 1853 to 1854. He was the first settler in Lehi, Utah. He later married Selina Miller (1857), Elizabeth Milne (1865), Hannah East (1865), and Elizabeth Bowen (1868). He passed away April 4, 1876, in Lehi, Utah County, Utah.
