Biography

Howard Earl McBride (1932-2021) was a businessman, college teacher, and United States Army veteran.

Howard Earl McBride was born on September 29, 1932, to Cleao Wells McBride and Fern Rose Moffett in Smoot, Wyoming. The family moved to Burley, Idaho when Howard was young. Howard attended Brigham Young University in the 1950s. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia, where he met his future wife, Lois Ladner. They were married in 1957. In 1956, Howard joined the United States Army, and served until 1964. Howard graduated from Stanford University with an MBA in 1962. He worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric, owned a business in Arizona, and later taught at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Howard died in Kaysville, Utah, on December 2, 2021.
