Biographical History

Melba Vance Calder (1900-1986) was a musician and a founding member of the Orem Literary Club.

Melba Vance Calder was born on February 4, 1900, in Provo, Utah. She was married to Edgar Hague Calder on December 12, 1917. Melba was a lifelong musician and charter member of the Orem Literary Club founded in 1929. Edgar died in 1958, and Melba died on August 17, 1986.
