Biographical History

Alma Christiansen was born April 10, 1876, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He married Matilda Anderson in 1902 and together they had three children, Mildred, Rhodin, and Malcolm. They also raised their neice, Ruby. In 1912, Alma purchased a Kodak Premo Camera in 1912, one of the best amateur cameras available at that time. He began taking and developing photographs in his own darkroom, mainly between 1912 to 1925. His photography subjects were of landscapes around his home, neighbors, family members, and Mt. Timpanagos and the surrounding valley.
