D. Allan Mackay (1916-2009) was an engineer for city water supplies in California.
Daniel Allan Mackay was born on July 12, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah, one of six children born to parents Daniel Thomas and Norma Christopherson Mackay. He married Edyth LaVern Sorenson on May 25, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, and together had three children. He worked as a water engineer in California. Mackay died in Orem, Utah, on December 25, 2009.
