This collection includes thirteen boxes of World War II correspondence between Mary Agnes Gall (Hissrich) and Richard E. Hissrich; World War II memorabilia including photographs, medals, articles of clothing, etc. It also includes one box of correspondence between Albert Gall and Ethel Maass during WWI; photographs from WWI; and other memorabilia relating to WWI. Also included in the collection are discs containing digitized images of the WWI photographs and the WWII correspondence.

The letters are written almost daily about life and how they feel for each other. There are also several letters written between Mary Agnes and Richard and their parents during a time after they were married and Mary Agnes was living near where her husband was stationed.
