Administrative History

The South American Expedition was a scientific research expedition led by faculty members of Brigham Young Academy from 1900 to 1901. The group explored areas in central and southern Mexico and Central America.

Much of the material focuses on the contributions of Benjamin Cluff Jr. and Chester G. Van Buren. Collection was compiled by Vasco M. Tanner, and includes his own research and writing on the expedition.
