John died in 1890 and Marha died in 1910.

Her family had joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and they migrated to Utah with Martha in 1866. Martha married John Benjamin Roberts in 1867 in American Fork, Utah. She died in 1931.

She emigrated to Utah in 1847 in the company of her husband, Joseph Albert Stratton. Her husband died in 1850, and she married Chauncey Walker West in 1852. She had no children and died in 1908.
