Rufty family war correspondence
Contains a small series of correspondence to the Rufty family from related family members serving in World War II. Little is said in the letters about military actions, focusing instead on the well-being of the writer and events at home. Some of the letters are V-mail service communications, reprinted and sent from microfilm. The collection also includes a two-page account of a paratrooper company's involvement in the D-day invasion.
