Rufty family war correspondence

Little is said in the letters about military actions, focusing instead on the well-being of the writer and events at home. Some of the letters are V-mail service communications, reprinted and sent from microfilm. The collection also includes a two-page account of a paratrooper company's involvement in the D-day invasion.
