Melinda Richards collection on Russian composers
Collection was created as part of the research done by Melinda Richards for her honors thesis entitled, "Musical Life in Post-Soviet St. Petersburg as Seen Through Composer's Eyes," completed at Brigham Young University. The collection spans the dates 1984 to 1996 and contains pamphlets of Russian composers that include a brief biography and list of composer's main works, as well as audiotapes of composer interviews and music recordings.
Mary Noel Rigby poetry and personal narratives
The collection consists of four items of Mary Noel Rigby's poetry and written vignettes of her life. She entitled sections of her poetry Nature, Philosophy and Spiritual. She writes vignettes primarily about her home life spanning from her childhood with her parents to her own experiences as a mother.
The right thing
Handwritten holograph manuscript stamped "10 Oct. 1899." The manuscript is a love story set in South Africa during the Boar War. There are numerous corrections in the author's hand.
