Two typewritten manuscripts of the story "Cedar Breaks." Each of the versions contains the fictional story of a Mormon family in Cedar City, Utah practicing polygamy. The story was published in 1976 under the title, "Zion Town."

Typewritten and signed book draft. This item was a working copy used by the author. The manuscript was published by Deseret Book in 1930. Widtsoe attempts to reconcile scientific methodologies and various scientific findings with Mormon theology.

The collections consists of business and personal correspondence, research materials, and miscellaneous items, which relate to Lundwall's research, writing, finances, and personal life. The collection is divided into two parts: a manuscript section and a microfilm section.

The materials cover a large number of topics because of Young's involvement in religion, education, government (historical societies), and professional organizations. The diaries were kept while Young was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
