Handwritten letters written by Emma Lucy Gates Bowen while she was studying in Europe and performing as a vocalist and opera singer. Includes six bound volumes of letters covering her education and early career. Unbound letters covering her later years, courtship, and career are addressed to the Gates family, her husband, Albert E. Bowen, and her agent, Catherine A. Bowman. Materials dated 1896-1948.

The Alonzo Arthur Noon papers consist of six journals, four scrapbooks, and one "Deed and Letter Book" of Alonzo Noon, kept between the years 1860-1910, as well as one journal of his son, Henry Adolphus Noon, kept from 1885-1887. Alonzo Arthur Noon's journals and scrapbooks cover the time period when he was living in South Africa as well as the time he spent living in Provo, Utah as a juvenile court judge.
