Packham collected April Fool's day pranks that his friends had either played or encountered. Included are pranks from a bus driver telling children famous baseball players getting traded on an important game day, prank on roommate creating a mess, pranks on siblings involving smelly water, and fake lottery tickets. Project was created for an English 391 course taught at Brigham Young University in 2000.

Rose collected April Fools jokes played by friends and family. Included are a mother putting plastic wrap in the pancakes, a wife making her husband a joke lunch, and a sister lacing her brother's shoes backwards. The project was collected for Dr. Thursby's English 356 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1998.

Dennis has collected stories about experiences with homeless people. Most people view the homeless as crazy, liars, or unfortunate people who deserve charity. Dennis has found that although some of the negative attitudes about homelessness are justified, the homeless are hard working and serve a function in society. Hall interviewed his grandmother and two great aunts to learn more about his great grandparents, Archibald and Mary May Harris. Included are stories of Archibald's strict parenting, his service as a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Mary's cooking and organization skills. The paper was written for an English 655 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
