Womankind : the folklore of childbearing / Kimberli Roth, 1997
Roth interviewed women to collect folklore associated with childbearing. Included are superstitions that going to the mountains will cause a miscarriage, ways to determine the gender of your child, and methods of inducing labor. The project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
Women and their 40th birthdays : tragedy or triumph / Kathryn Collins Robinson, 1999
After her own 40th birthday Robinson had a change of attitude about aging and celebrating "over the hill" birthdays. Included in her interviews are parties that people planned to joke about the landmark of being 40, disappointments of getting older, and why the informants felt the way they did about their 40th birthdays. Project was created for Dr. Eliason's English 391 course taught at Brigham Young University 1999.

Blakesley collected narratives from women who had started their own business. Included are stories about their previous employment, how they were motivated to start their business, and the difficulties and joys of being an entrepreneur. Cardoza collected narratives from new female converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Included are stories that fall into the categories of the womens' introduction to the Church, feeling the spirit, the views of their families, missionary stories, and their transition to Latter-day Saint living. The project was written for an English 655 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.

Women's narratives of house and home / Lisa Gray Larsen, 1997
Larsen collected narratives from women in her neighborhood about their memories of homes they've lived in, both as children and adults. Included are an analysis of Larsen's observations, transcripts of the conversations had, and pictures of the women interviewed and nostalgic items they brought to share. The project was written for Dr. Thursby's English 655 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
