Goodwin collected folklore surrounding traditional Chinese funerals. Included are varying accounts of how long the body should be out before it is buried, descriptions of professional mourners who cry continually over the body, and explanation of possessions that are burned when the body is buried. The project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
