Alumni Association lantern slides
Contains lantern slides of university buildings, faculty, and events collected by T. Earl Pardoe for the Alumni Association. Also includes images related to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Materials date from approximately 1880 to 1925.
Bamberger Railroad Company photographs
Collection includes photographs with corresponding nitrate and glass plate negatives and glass lantern slides of Utah railroads collected by the Bamberger Railroad Company. Dated approximately 1890-1959.
Albert C. Boyle lantern slides of the West
Collection includes 576 lantern slides and two photographs assembled by Albert C. Boyle between 1900 and 1951. Contains images of geologic formations in the American West, including lakes, caves, canyons, and mountains.
T. H. McCallister collection of lantern slide projectors
Collection includes two lantern slide projectors from around 1890. The design was developed by T.H. McAllister and patented in 1886 and 1887, and was marketed under the name "New York Model Magic Lantern." The projectors are complete with wick lamps, chimneys, oil boxes, lenses, and accompanying slides.
Collection of lantern slides of art
Collection is composed of 69 lantern slides dating from approximately 1888 to 1950. The majority of the slides are photographs of paintings by John Hafen. There are also two slides of a painting by Rose Hartwell and two slides of paintings by John Hafen's son, Virgil Hafen. There are also two portraits on John Hafen, one by Will Vawter and the other photographer not identified. There is also a photograph taken by George Edward Anderson of John Hafen's son, Joseph, and John's wife, Thora.
